In Federalist 10 Madison describes a faction as  “a number of citizens, whether amounting to a majority or minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some impulse of passion or interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens, or the permanent and aggregate interests of the community.”

David Hume in ‘Of Parties In General’ states in part, “Factions subvert government” and “beget the fiercest animosities among men of the same nation, who ought to give mutual assistance and protection to each other.” He further states that factions “seldom end but by the total dissolution of that government, in which they are sown.” and that factions “always infect the legislature itself.”

Clearly Black Nationalists, Afro-centrics and avowed members of the African Diaspora fall within Madison’s definition of a faction. That this faction is actuated by a common passion and interest that is separatist in nature and therefore adverse to the permanent and aggregate interests of the (American) community is also undeniable.

One could also argue that the predacious influence of this faction, that is, the awarding of government contracts, admission to colleges and preferential hiring policies based on skin color and ethnicity have subverted our government as well.

But the most destructive consequence of this faction is that “fiercest of animosities” that is its lifeblood. That same animosity that declares Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright to be upstanding men of God, back shooting murderers like Mumia Abu Jamal a hero and criminals like the Jena 6 to be victims.

And what is it that gives this group the privilege to call lies the truth and the truth a lie?

The transatlantic slave trade.

Indeed. The members of this faction insist that their real or imagined problems are a direct result of their enslavement at the hands of white European Christians. 

But the truth is, Africans were enslaved by Arab Muslims centuries before any white Europeans showed up.

During an interview, Ronald Segal, author of "Islam's Black Slaves: The Other Black Diaspora” (2001), said the Muslim slave trade, “began in the middle of the seventh century and survives today in Mauritania and Sudan. With the Islamic slave trade, we're talking of 14 centuries rather than four.”  (The faction’s response to the slavery in Mauritania and Sudan was silence. In the same interview Segal, referring to Farrakhan’s indifference to that slavery asked “Does he want them to bring him the slaves as proof?” Why the silence?)

Discussing his “Veiled Genocide” (2008), author Tidiane N'Diaye, a Senegalese Muslim, states that the Arab Muslim slave trade was “for black Africa through the centuries, much more devastating than the transatlantic trade.” Mr. N’Diaye adds “It must be stated that the disdain of the Arabs towards Africans was also a catalyst. The famous Arab historian of the 14th century, Ibn-Khaldum, wrote: "The only people who accept slavery are the Negroes, because of an inferior degree of humanity, their place being closer to the level of animals.” The question then was: how to see to it that these "animals" did not reproduce in Arab-Muslim lands. Since there was nothing metaphysical about it, castration appeared to be a practical solution. And so, in this effort to abase human beings, if the Arabs sent most black women to harems, they mutilated the men, using rudimentary procedures that caused a terrifying mortality. The figures on this slave trade are quite simply harrowing.”

Again, the faction responds to this historical reality with silence. Why?

Mr. N’Diaye offers an answer; “Because in this sort of "Stockholm syndrome African-style," all of these fine people agree to place everything on the shoulders of the West. This selective silence surrounding the Arab-Muslim crimes against black peoples and this effort to minimize it, so as to better point the projectors solely at the transatlantic trade, is a cement being used to bring about a fusion of Arabs and Negro-African peoples - who have long been " fellow victims" of Western colonialism. That Arab-Muslim writers and other intellectuals attempt to make even the simplest memory of this infamy disappear, as if it had never existed, is easily understood. On the other hand, what is harder to grasp is the attitude of many researchers, and even of African Americans who are converting more and more to Islam.”

Given the 1400 year history of the Arab Muslim slave trade in Africa, and the fact that Islam itself sanctions slavery, the “Stockholm syndrome African style” would explain why the descendants of African victims are protecting (with their silence) the descendants of their Arab Muslim slave masters. It might also explain how adherents to this faction (especially the Nation Of Islam) must bury the truth in order to fuel that “fiercest of animosities” which in turn encourages that fusion of Arabs and Negro-Africans in their struggle to avenge themselves against western colonialism. That is, us.

The strength and influence of this faction rests upon the denial of historical fact, an openly hostile separatist/supremacist ideology, outright lies and an obsession with its own enrichment.

This faction has proclaimed the larger American community to be its enemy.

The choices this cycle seem pretty clear: we can vote for, and thereby encourage, the lies, hostility and aversion to reality that this faction represents, or we can vote for truth and reality and so begin the process of repairing the devastation that this faction has caused.

There’s no middle ground anymore.

Mr. Ruff And The Frankfort Jihad

Ruff And Ready

”I believe in the Constitution, I believe in the bill of Rights, and I believe it protects our freedom and our right to believe in a religion that you choose. I do not want them replaced with a system that institutionalizes discrimination against women and non-Muslims, something I think all Americans should be concerned about…Question: Is America ready to engage in a process of having a state (Sharia) within the state? I don’t believe so.” (Parenthesis mine) Frankfort Township Assessor Paul J Ruff’s press conference responding to an alleged anti-Muslim email Mr. Ruff forwarded to friends this past June.

Referring to that same email  the American Islamic Association’s  Afzal  Ahmad stated, “I'm offended, and my community is offended. Maybe he (Ruff) needs to re-read the constitution." (Ahmed Rehab, who works for the unindicted coconspirators at CAIR was even more offended then Ahmad but he never actually saw the email so, one can forgive Rehab his hysteria: as usual he didn’t know what he was talking about.)

That said, Mr. Ruff’s grasp of the US Constitution seemed pretty solid to those of us who attended his press conference.

And having read the email it was clear that only a fevered imagination could construe it as anti-Muslim. It did call for all immigrants to assimilate to their host country’s culture and society. That’s not anti-Muslim, that’s just Standard Operating Procedure isn’t it? It sure is in the Muslim world.  The email also suggested that those who wished to live under Sharia Law should get themselves to countries where Sharia law is supreme. That’s not anti-Muslim either. That’s just a reminder that western civilization is based on individual rights, equality before the (man made) law and absolute freedom from any state sanctioned religion. Ahmad would do well to read the constitution himself.  

These western concepts are, of course, nowhere evident in the Muslim world.

The inability of the folks at AIA and their unindicted coconspirator friends at CAIR to comprehend and live by those concepts is not the fault of Mr. Ruff.

Nor is Ahmad’s confusion as to the difference between anti-Muslim and anti-Sharia the fault of Mr. Ruff.

In fact this manufactured dust up has nothing to do with any anti-Muslim bigotry on the part of Mr. Ruff. It is part of the creeping Sharia that has been forced on us by a host of unindicted coconspirators, their Christian and Jewish defenders, who have morphed into Bush’s non-denominational “People of Faith” special interest group, Bush himself and a media whose influence is ever fading. (As for the media; the msm from Chicago, primping and swaggering, arrived late for Mr. Ruff’s one o’clock press conference. To his credit, he started without them. All the more reason to like this guy.)

Also, this is an election year. Not only are the citizens of Frankfort subject to the Islamic jihad of the heart, word and mind, they are also subject to the malevolent creep of a Chicago Democrat style of party politics that has much to gain by aligning itself with a faux human rights issue. Let’s not forget what the Chicago human rights agenda looks like: a sanctuary policy that embraces hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, a failed public school system, high taxes, violent crime and oh yeah, Barack Hussein Obama.

Wet Powder And Stale Promises

In May 2006 Bush promised a ‘virtual fence’ that was sure to be "the most technologically advanced border security initiative in American history."

Part of that ‘virtual fence’, Boeing/SBInet’s ‘Project 28’, boasted nine mobile towers, radar, cameras, vehicles with laptops and satellite phones all linked in (near) real time, all intent on stopping illicit crossings.

In February 2008, the Bush administration announced the delay of Project 28 for at least three years. The cost of Project 28? 1.15 billion taxpayer dollars. (GAO-08-739R Secure Border Initiative pg15)

Undeterred by it’s billion dollar failure, Boeing/SBInet launched the next phase of its security initiative; the “Tucson West’ project. This masterpiece consists of 57 towers.
(Given Boeing/SBInet’s inability to produce 9 functioning towers at 1.15 billion dollars one can only imagine the cost of their inability to produce 57 of them.)

On June 10^th Chertoff referred to the increasing violence along the border as a “good sign” indicating that the tightened security on our southern border is working. If tightened security is working, how did three members of the Mexican military manage to kill a rival drug cartel member in Phoenix?  Is this tightening security slowing the flood of illegals into this country? Unlikely. And in view of the increasing violence, how soon before some administration or State Department hack starts granting these newly arrived illegals refugee status? And given the fact that the flow of illegal aliens has remained constant, need we accept the 12-million-illegal-aliens-in-America number that Bush gave us two years ago? Are we to believe that the number of illegals traveling south is equal to the number entering the United States?

Violence along our southern border increases and the National Guard is removed. We are assured the border will be totally secured two or three years from now but meanwhile useless towers and an outnumbered and outgunned Border Patrol will protect us. The same Border Patrol whose members have been attacked, shot at and killed by border criminals and prosecuted for doing their jobs by our own government?

A war on terror was declared years ago. One of the most salient features of terrorism as a tactic is the exploitation of political, geographical, cultural and military vulnerabilities. Certainly an uncontrolled and open border that invites millions of unknown persons into these United States is a glaring vulnerability. Yet nothing is ever done to eliminate that vulnerability.

The inability or refusal of a sovereign nation to control its borders is a sign of a failed state. No more no less.

As we are now witnessing, this lack of control has transformed our border region into a murderous free fire zone where the smuggling of weapons, humans and drugs reign supreme. Nor do these activities confine themselves to the border region. We can see the evidence of this by observing the explosive growth of international gangs engaging in criminal activity wherever illegal alien enclaves exist within the United States.

And if we can see this, despite the Media’s desperate attempts to blame all manner of anti social criminal behavior on xenophobia and white racism, why can’t our elected officials see it?

Well they can, but here too our elected officials are exhibiting another signpost of the failed state wherein democratic norms once perceived as benefiting all citizens are subverted to benefit the few, corruption is the coin of the realm and security, the most important political good, slowly vanishes behind a noxious cloud of false victimization, minority grievance and politically correct indoctrination.

I don’t say we are a failed state. But it’s not from lack of effort on the part of our elected officials. Nor is there a lack of effort on the part of those who support the perverse results of programs begun by that other back slapping buffoon, Lyndon Johnson.

The American Society, distinct and separate from the US Government, is failing. It has become an object of derision and ridicule by those not bright enough to understand it or honorable enough to live by its imperatives. And like all not too bright and dishonorable thugs, they attacked us where we were weakest: our children.

As the Sumerians must have sadly viewed the passing along of their knowledge, technological advances and wisdom to an ill adept culture; so are we today.

We would do well to take a minute this Independence Day and offer our thanks to the Democrats and their liberals and the Republicans and their conservatives for what they have wrought.

Leadership Or Criminal Enterprise?

The reverend Illinois state senator James T Meeks is angry. Having dedicated himself to fixing the inequitable school funding system in Illinois and having failed to do so, the reverend senator has done what the black leadership inevitably does whenever its incompetence, greed or disinterest becomes apparent; it points to the members of the black minority most affected by that disinterest (this time it’s black students) and claims white racism did it. It never fails.

Meeks wants to keep Chicago public school students out of class for a couple of days starting on September 2. He wants some students to try to enroll in Winnetka, a predominantly white suburb just north of the city and others to engage in sit-ins at a few businesses in Chicago. The reverend senator Meeks screamed, “Open up the white school. We wanna get in the white school. We wanna go where books are or computers are or we want the white money to come to the colored school then the colored school won’t be the colored school no more!” 

The specter of racism. Implied or overt, real or increasingly manufactured. It is the black leadership’s best friend.

However, the Illinois General Assembly website shows that Meeks’ fight against racism and the “ever growing school funding inequalities between rich, white and poor, minority school districts…” never happened. The bills passed into law where Meeks was the primary sponsor had nothing to do with school funding.

Meeks and the black leadership in Illinois can say whatever they want now. In fact they couldn’t be bothered with school funding. It hasn’t been on their agenda for years. 

(A special two-day session of the legislature called by the governor will have school funding on its agenda. As well as pay raises for legislators. Illinois Senate President Emil Jones said, "I have members of my caucus who are single parents, who feel very strongly that they deserve a pay raise" I’ll bet they do.)

Indeed. How could school funding be a concern when the black leadership in Chicago and Springfield has its hands full trying to shove the race-hustling Barack Hussein Obama down our collective throats?

Imagine for a moment the events on September 2; Election Day is two months away, the reverend senator Meeks, camera crews in tow, ferries his students from location to location. Imagine the futility of kids trying to register in a district where they do not reside and the unspeakable horror of lakefront liberals in Winnetka being accused of racism. Now imagine that into this chaos comes the compassionate, almost Clinton like “feel your pain” moment when Barack Hussein confronts (on camera) the injustice these minority students are suffering as a result of institutionalized racism. He calls for more tax dollars, absolves a grateful Winnetka of its sins and moves on to the next crisis manufactured by the black leadership.

Oh, and after Hussein departs some representative from whatever organization has jurisdiction might remind Winnetkan citizens how contributions and votes help heal the wounds of slavery, Jim Crow and privileged white bigotry.

Over the years the black leadership has conducted itself like a corrupt, hostile, pampered and incompetent state within a state. It is a leadership that preys upon its most vulnerable members so as to ensure a constant supply of angry have nots that these loud scam artists then use to work their con. It is a leadership that has produced the highest abortion rate alongside the highest number of children born to unwed single mothers in what amounts to a dysfunctional matriarchy. It has produced the highest number of male high school dropouts and a disproportionately high number of criminals. The black clergy, if it may be called such, and the black minority overwhelmingly support the results of this leadership.

All this being true, I will not be told by any member of the black minority who or what I am.

Any member of the black minority that supports a leadership that takes whatever it can steal and gives my culture and country so little will not judge me. Nor will I be told what I must do to please any member of the black minority.

No doubt the black leadership will insist their actions remain above reproach, but Obama’s candidacy has given us all the opportunity to examine the realities of a black leadership that has done much for itself, but not so much for the rest of us.

This knowledge will have its effect come Election Day.

The Divine Procurer

On June 19^th this year the Chicago Tribune’s ‘Exploring Race’ Forum mourned the “lingering misconceptions among some “working-class white voters”” regarding Barack Hussein Obama’s Muslim background. Can Obama “embrace the Muslim community and still gain favor among those working-class (white) voters?”  the Tribune worried.

Indeed. Picture the Muslim in America, a slave to what (unindicted coconspirator) CAIR’s Ibraham Hooper has called the ideology of Islam. He stands alone, reaching towards the rich and culturally diverse sharia that Obama’s embrace promises when, faster than CAIR’s Ahmed Rehab can shout “there’s Budweiser Anger there”, those working-class white voters; armed, embittered and no doubt quoting scripture, rob the Muslim of his American Umma.

Oh the humanity.

As for whether or not Obama can or will embrace the Muslim community the question is moot. Obama has already embraced the Muslim community. I base that statement in part on the following: his sponsorship of the Muslim Community Center Day bill in Illinois in 1997, his co-sponsorship of the Halal Food Act, signed into law in Illinois in August 2001, the awarding of grants totaling $75,000 from the Woods Fund (while Obama served on that organization’s board) to the Arab American Action Network, run by Obama fundraiser and PLO functionary Rashid Khalidi, his promise post 9/11 to stand with the Muslim Community should the political winds shift in an ugly direction, (the furtive increase of sharia and Muslim proselytizing in our schools, media, work place, government, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, all of which certainly constitute an “ugly direction” for America, do not concern Obama), his outrage at the U.S military incursion into a Muslim country, his promise to hold a meeting with Muslim nations in order to repair the image of the U.S., his contempt for the “religious absolutism of the Christian right”, while he describes the call to prayer in Islam (the most intolerant and violent ideology extant) as “one of the prettiest sounds on earth” and finally, his renewed efforts to convince us that America is not in any way shape or form a Christian nation. 

Obama’s insistence that America is not a Christian nation dovetails neatly with the strategies of unindicted coconspirators, Muslim organizations and Muslim propaganda rags across the country.

For example, responding to McCain’s statement that America is a Christian nation a staggeringly mendacious Dr. Aslam Abdullah (No! We are Not A Christian Nation), director of the Islamic society of Las Vegas and acting president of the Muslim Council of America asks, “does he (McCain) mean evangelical Christianity that condemns Jews as anti-Christ…Does he believe in white supremacist Christianity…does he believe in Orthodox Christianity that still believes that slavery was one of the God gifted right of the earlier settlers?”

Further: “What are these Judeo--Christian traditions? There is little to suggest that values called Judeo-Christian really exists…The tragedy of six million Jews killed during the notorious reign of a Christian nationalist, Hitler, is not a myth… To claim that there is something called Judeo-Christian tradition is an oxymoron.”

And the founding of our nation? “We believe that in the formation of this nation, Catholics, Protestants of various denominations, Unitarians, Hindus, animists, pagans, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and atheists and agnostics played a significant role.” 

Pagans, Muslims, Buddhists and atheists played a “significant role” in the founding of the United States? Clearly Abdullah has some reading to do.

As for Abdullah feigning some sort of moral high ground regarding the slaughter of Jews, let’s not forget this: "The Hour [Resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews, and kill them. And the Jews will hide behind the rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, this is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!"

In fact Hitler was around for roughly a decade. Islam has made Jew killing an ideological and moral imperative for roughly 1400 years. Do the math.

In and of themselves Abdullah’s statements are disgusting in their dishonest and flagrant attack on Christianity and American society. Sadly predictable to be sure, but repellant nonetheless. Certainly if I were to write anything like that in Egypt, Jordan or Saudi Arabia there would be crowds in the street demanding my head. Literally.

Unfortunately for us, the arrogance and myopia that allow Abdullah and his ilk to ignore facts and reality in pursuit of ideological purity for Islam is comparable to the arrogance and myopia exhibited by racial and ethnic ideologists in the United States. When it comes to the future of American society the goals of a Farrakhan, Sharpton or Wright do not necessarily conflict with those of Islam.

In Barack Hussein Obama, we have the perfect middleman.

Arrogance And The Unindicted Co-Conspirators

Recently the CAIR website announced the formation of a coalition of Muslim groups to carry out a nationwide census project to collect “accurate data” concerning America’s mosques.

The coalition will contact every Mosque and Muslim community center so as to compile accurate statistics relating to Muslim population, infrastructure development, participation of women and youth and the degree of Muslim involvement in American society.

Strangely, there is no mention of American prisons. A substantial number of violent, undereducated criminals convert to Islam inside the prison walls annually. Conversions that are sometimes facilitated by Wahhabi agents. A curious omission.

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) will conduct the project and publish its findings in early 2009. That is, two organizations with terrorist connections that have been designated unindicted co-conspirators by the United States government, will supply us with everything we need to know about Muslims in America.

One might wonder why unindicted co-conspirators are more qualified to administer a census of Muslims then the U.S. Census Bureau. Until one remembers that post 9/11, governmental agencies from the FBI to Homeland Security dare not approach the Muslim Community without asking permission to do so. From the Muslim Community.

Dr.Ihsan Bagby, Board Member of unindicted co-conspirator CAIR says; “The vibrant diversity of our community is an asset to our nation, and understanding the American mosque is essential to understanding U.S. Muslims.”

Dr. Syed Sayeed, National Director of unindicted co-conspirator ISNA gushes, “Muslims in America are making an important contribution in enriching the mainstream of America”.  Sayeed also insists the project is critical in “educating both Muslim and the mainstream community about Muslims and Islam.”

Certainly Bagby, Sayeed and other Muslims who constantly assure us that Islam is “enriching” American society have managed to convince some of us (the U.S. government and the media) that Muslim proselytizing and Muslim commitment to Islamic tribal loyalties are in the best interests of America, rather than the Muslims themselves.

But not all of us.

And just as one shouldn’t be surprised when a pig rolls in the mud or a dog eats his own vomit, so one shouldn’t be surprised at the duplicity and obfuscation exhibited by these co-conspirators in the furtherance of their goals.

And make no mistake; the goal of these co-conspirators is jihad.

Consider the efforts of CAIR and ISNA to present their own data to Americans within the context of the evidence presented at the Holy Land Foundation Trial. At that trial the co-conspirators were said to be engaged in a "Civilization-Jihadist Process" that states; “The Ikhwan [Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

Given all that, what sort of  “accurate data” will these unindicted co-conspirators manufacture?  And how will these unindicted co-conspirators spin that “accurate data”? And who, outside of our clock watching federal government (and the media) will buy any of it?

As for understanding Muslims or being educated about Muslims and Islam, well, that’s all backwards isn’t it? As a member of American society and a citizen of the United States, I am under no moral, cultural, legal or constitutional obligation to be educated by Muslims in the observance of Islamic rituals, rites, obligations or superstitions. Rather, it is incumbent upon the Muslims to educate themselves in American traditions and obligations so as to assimilate into my culture and my nation.

Interestingly, the very things these co-conspirators demand of us they deny Christian minorities in their Muslim homelands. According to the U.S. Copts Association there are no Christian governors, mayors, chief of police, presidents of City councils or college deans in Egypt. And unlike here, where Islam is foisted upon our children behind our backs, Coptic History (which predates Islamic history in Egypt), language and culture is not taught in Egyptian schools at all. The list of Islamic repressions visited upon their respective Christian minorities is endless.

And the unindicted co-conspirators presume to impose that intolerance here under the guise of delightful diversity?

These loons need to get with the program. Religion is a personal and private matter here. An elective if you will.

The co-conspirators problem is not the ignorance of the American people regarding Islam. We know what Islam is. Their problem is the arrogant presumption that their misguided beliefs grant them the right to ignore American cultural, societal and legal norms.

Our problem is the flaccid and pathetic government that allows these groups to continue to spread their poison.

A Conservative Society?

There’s no shortage of pundits, commentators and scribblers who’ve convinced themselves that the United States is a conservative society.

The Tarrance-George Washington University Battleground Poll (Questionnaire and Percentages, section D3) puts conservative respondents at a whopping 62%. (22% very conservative and 40% moderately so.) The May (29-31) Cook Political Report/RT Strategies Polls (page 6) puts the number of conservatives at 37%.

No doubt one can find similar results in other polls in the effort to support the conservative society argument, but the reality is that American society has been moving to the left for decades.

And frankly, the very term conservative is, I believe, somewhat amorphous and imprecise. For example, the Rasmussen Demographic – 2008 Presidential Race, June 10, states in part, “The presumptive Republican nominee (McCain) was seen as politically conservative by 31% of all voters in December, by 41% in April, and by 67% today.” But McCain isn’t a conservative. That he is increasingly perceived as such indicates a failure of conservatives to clearly define who and what they are to American voters.

Clearly, a description of what conservatism is is necessary. And in the process of discovering what conservatism is, statements like- tending to conserve; preservative; disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and having the power or tendency to conserve- inevitably appear. 

Given those definitions, one should ask what specific American societal traditions conservatism has preserved since the Goldwater era forty years ago.

For example, according to the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life Survey conducted this year, 78.4% of Americans (approximately 220 million people) are Christians. Yet our Christian heritage, a tradition worth conserving because Christianity has been a guiding principle since the Declaration of Independence, has all but disappeared from the public eye. That is to say that conservatism, in what some consider a conservative society, could not prevent the beliefs and traditions of some 220 million Americans, a clear majority, from being vilified and cast from the public realm.

And what has replaced those Christian traditions and beliefs throughout the public sphere?
Empty Secularity and, increasingly, the vile barbarism of Islam.

How does that reality make ours a conservative society?

The disassociation doesn’t stop there.

American traditions (which conservatives champion) such as individual rights, equal justice before the law and equal opportunity, rights which I believe rest upon the Christian ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” philosophy, now take a back seat to rights, justice and opportunities based on skin color, gender, sexual preference and ethnicity. Not to mention the right to proselytize for any religion other than Christianity.

How can one claim to live in a conservative society when the principles and traditions upon which that conservatism is based have little or no influence in the governance of that society, the education of it’s citizens or the portrayal of that society by the various media?

Clearly the reality refutes the claim.

Certainly there are tens of millions of conservatives in this nation. But they are essentially a faction without a voice and without real representation. Their dependence on and support for the Republican Party, a party that has become increasingly liberal and therefore hostile to them, has been their undoing.

And unlike the illegal aliens, racial supremacists and Muslims who have planted their flags, maintained their tribal loyalties and succeeded in having their respective cultures granted equal status with our own, conservatives suffer their own disenfranchisement and hope Republican liberals will do the right thing for them.

An exercise in futility.

144 days before the next president, a liberal or a raging progressive, ascends to the American throne and for whatever reason, the varied and many factioned conservative “movement” has not yet summoned the wherewithal to strike out on its own.

One can’t help but wonder; if not now, when?

 There They Go Again

 

It seems we’re to have another racial dialogue.

You’ll remember that our last dialogue came as a result of Ray Nagin’s incompetence before, during and after the Katrina debacle. Indeed. Who can forget Nagin and the Black Leadership screaming racism while thousands scrambled for food, shelter and medical care? Who can forget the sight of New Orleans Finest joining in on the looting?

None of which prevented Mr. Nagin’s reelection as Mayor of New Orleans, his Chocolate City. Of course New Orleans might be more brown than chocolate now but, no matter.

Some memorable moments from the Katrina dialogue- Cynthia McKinney accusing the Pale Faces in Gretna of racism, Kanye West blubbering “Bush doesn’t like Black People”,  Farrakhan suggesting whitey sabotaged the levees, the Mexican Army delivering humanitarian aid and Barack Obama proclaiming  "…It was the first time in his presidency he (Bush) acknowledged poverty in this country…For too long we have been silent and complacent...”

No reference to his grandmother in that one but he hadn’t moved beyond race yet. At that point Obama was just another racial grievance hack.

True to form, the Katrina dialogue, like all post civil rights era racial dialogues, ended when the requisite number of apologies and taxpayer dollars had been issued.

This “Racial Dialogue” process isn’t exactly an inclusive one. But it isn’t meant to be.

In order for the racial spoils system to work Americans must forever declare themselves guilty of racism. There’s no other way for the thing to work.

And racism has changed over the years.

The fight against racism, or what started as our national commitment to ensure equality before the law and equal opportunity for all Americans, has degenerated into the belief that white skin is irrefutable evidence of racism.

Forty years of affirmative action, set asides and quotas and my choices (as a white American) are to confess my sins and serve the church of the racial true believers or suffer the fate my racist skin demands.

I find those choices not so different from the convert-or-die choices offered by the peaceful religion of Islam.

Certainly life on the slippery middle ground that exists in both camps requires a “passing under the yoke”, an ancient custom that required a defeated and disarmed enemy to pass under a spear, thereby forcing him to bow his head, while his victorious enemies shouted and jeered at him.

Nothing short of ritual and literal surrender is acceptable.

Obama’s speech was an attempt to reinforce the heretofore-unassailable right of all blacks all over the world to dictate the form, content, duration and results of all dialogues on race, from the pulpit to the penitentiary.

Unfortunately for Obama and the true believers, we heard what Obama’s wife had to say. We heard what his preacher had to say. We heard clergymen from across the political spectrum trying to justify the poison spewing from Wright’s mouth. We’ve heard Farrakhan and Sharpton and Jackson so often that we can repeat their demands, accusations and threats by rote.

Forty years of trying to right a great wrong and the result is an intense hatred of all things white.

If it were just blacks in America who hated white Americans we could continue to pretend that greater effort and lots more money might neutralize this racial toxicity. But it’s beyond that now. The racial hatred bristling in the black communities feeds, and is fed by the same hatred in the Hispanic illegal alien communities. And the jihadis, through front groups like CAIR, use the same methods and rhetoric (including accusations of racism even though Islam isn’t a race) to achieve their goals that Sharpton and Jackson use to achieve theirs.

In accusing white America of an inherent and eternal racism, so as to avoid responsibility for their own lives and conditions, blacks in America have turned away from reality and America’s citizens.  By encouraging illegal aliens and the jihadis to avail themselves of the race gambit, and showing solidarity with those groups and countless thugs and dictators throughout the world, those same blacks have betrayed the very people who have supported and funded all those programs that blacks in America feel entitled to.

All this while Obama stands in agreement with Wright and promises the American people unity?

Not a chance. One cannot unify a thing while driving the wedge deeper and deeper.

Let’s have that dialogue.

And one question I’d like to ask is this, what happens when Obama loses? Will that be proof positive that America is irredeemably and forever racist? What then?
